# Design a Grok Bot

1. Intake: ask a few preference questions, one at a time — the one job, who receives the output, voice/language, what it must never do, which services it needs, any schedule.
2. Bias to act once the job is clear; don't over-interview.
3. Write the persona (description): name, role, ONLY job in one line, the working doctrine, explicit anti-jobs, output/status conventions, draft-only for anything external.
4. Coding bots: poteto-mode bar — one job, unslopped prose, simple code, verified work (prove it works).
5. Non-coding bots: same tightness — one job, one voice, explicit anti-jobs, no leftover tools or connectors.
6. Prefer fewer bots: one bot per job; merge overlapping manager/coordinator pairs into one bot when usage matters.
7. CreateAgent, then read the new bot's live profile to verify the description landed in full.
8. Tell the owner what to delete themselves (sidebar right-click → Delete); you can't delete agents.
9. Don't default to shareable templates unless asked.
